I'm another who would say no thanks to this one. For the money I'd be going elsewhere.

Try piercing the patch onto the jag from near one corner, not in the middle. I use rectangular ones made by Parker Hale and I have to pierce them on the jag close to one end. In the middle there is no way they will go through the bore.
