Re: FX STORM VS BEER CANS!

Ackley Improved have you worked out how many pumps are required per shot at each power setting?
What is your record speed for 8 aimed shots?

Re: So....Do Gamo have any good qualities?

KJD Gamo wish they were the Hyundai of the airgun world. Hyundai now goes great in the US J D Powers quality surveys.

AFAIK airarms are more complicated than rimfirearms, therefore you will pay more for equivalent workmanship & accuracy (although far less per shot).

Re: I did it Tikka Varmint

The smart jack/foxie is going for the jugular. The overconfident one thinks that it is a pigdog who can just grab it by the scruff of the neck & snap the foxes spine.
Two typical jack/foxie traits

You will nead to fire at leats five rounds and then take the median value.

I had opted for a bushing of .440
No offence but I hope an edit is required

Teasing Aussies with suppressors is like teasing Kiwis with a good Rugby coach.

Re: Show us your 22LR

I opened the new posts in this topic & up comes Carl's .22 "OH MY GOD". I just hope I never see anything so beautiful in a gunshop or I would bankrupt myself to buy it. If it shoots as well Carl never let it go, it should be in your family for centuries.

Re: Choices

Is the .204 T3 a standard size action i.e. .473 x 3.2" like the .308s?

That could seriously irritate me.

I've just bought some binoculars (nikon monarch 8x42 atb from natchez). These are the reviews I relied upon http://binoculars.org/productreviews.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.birds.cornell.edu/Publications/LivingBird/Winter2005/Age_Binos.html" onclick=...

Ackley Improved case life

What is it about AI that requires less neck trimming? Is it the sharper shoulder? Is it the loss of taper? Is it both?
Just wondering

Re: Home made pellet trap designs please- quiet as possible

Folded newspapers in a Special K box stop a low power pellet for me & the sticky tape holding the target releases nicely from the shiny cardboard.
