Last knife for 2023

Finished this for a mate to gift his dad for Christmas. 2mm nitro v stainless steel with 600grit hand sanded finish, stabilised blackwood, black G10 liner and pins. Finished it off with a kydex sheath. Pretty happy with how it turned out and I know he is going to be stoked with it and even better I ...

Top work on the hollow grinds Ted, takes some skills to get even grind lines like that. What size contact wheel are you using to do them?

Not much shooting going on here either but our ssaa range is now open via booking a particular timeslot so might go and have a shot next weekend.

I did notice that in your 'knife family' photo that there wasn't any flash kitchen knives [emoji3] or perhaps Kerriet would love a custom knife gift haha

You are just going great guns James. Mate those knives are superb. The scales your making are great, just love them. Now all you need to do is sell a few and pay for a nice kiln from Gameco, their only just under three grand :roll: Keep up the great work mate, I have missed answering on this thread...

A couple more I've knocked out over the past few weeks. First one is a petty chef knife made from 2mm 14c28 stainless with myrtle burl and resin handle. Handle is from the same block as a few other knives in our kitchen. The 2nd one is my first carbon steel knife. I have a sheet of 3mm 1084 so I fig...
