Re: An observation with 2209.
My observation is that all ADI powder made with BTI technology has a faster burn rate than pre BTI batches. Nothing to worry about if you have a good chrony to check this with.

Re: Fenix TK25
I have an olight m20 warrior a few years old now and it’s ok. The red light was why I was looking at the Fenix. But I’ve just ordered one of the hipower focusable led’s with red emitter so I’m looking forward to mounting that one up.

Fenix TK25
Anyone seen the Fenix tk25 in action? They look ok for the price. Now we have a decent farm with good rabbit numbers I might grab a bit better torch.

Awesome! Love the low n slow bbq. I reckon they would go well with a spicy coating mix and a vortex on the Weber too

Yes they have the best track record of all the straight pulls it seems. Our new farm seems to have quite a few stubble quail on it. I’m looking forward to finding a nice recipie for them. Would like to find a nice steel trap load for them.

Re: Joined the dark side of varminting
I’ve got that model with a 20 inch barrel. Lots of fun on game. Haven’t tried it on clays though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The longer barrel did seem to swing better than the shorter ones. But I can see the short ones would be really good in scrub or off a bike. Horses for courses I recko...

Laid down a deposit on one of these today. Trying to remain a little pure with the long barrel and timber stock rather than short black and pistol grips. Haven’t had a scatter gun in years but with a new property in the family with plenty of bunnies I’m looking forward to knocking a few over and pop...

Re: 20 Cal Practical
Had a 20 practical. 39sbk’s over 3750 from memory with rl10x. Never got to try 8208 but it should work too.

Re: Barrel Tuners (not rimfire)
Try upping the powder a little and re trying the jump. But that is impressive vertical nonetheless.

Re: Barrel Tuners (not rimfire)
Heres a question Tony, do you believe the key is weight or the benefits the weight offers eg vibration absorbing properties. Therefore could you get away with lighter but with extra vibration absorbing properties to get the same result? Im personally seeing great results with a very light tuner, the...

Re: 308 Win LRPs v SRPs
Glad you posted that up Brad. I didn't because the links take you to the Creedmoor tests he did. That is way more scary, especially part 3. Possibly worthy of some investigation. I’m not going to attempt to make my gun hang fire though. I’ve done some work on ignition in my gun and have found that ...

Re: 308 Win LRPs v SRPs
I believe that there is a point where the SRP becomes inconsistent with ignition. However I think there are factors such as powder burn rate, full pressure curve and yes the amount of energy the primer puts out are factors. Some recent batches of 450’s have tested similar velocities to 205’s and BR4...

Re: 308 Win LRPs v SRPs
I reckon large will be more consistent. That powder is getting slow for a small primer.
