Re: Bedding compound fitted with no release agent
I've read a post somewhere from a bloke (can't recall who/where) who puts a household iron on his scope base/s and just lets it sit there for a while until the action heats up enough to pop the action out of the stock. The ADI site shows 18-20gn of 2205 with 40gn bullet but no 2205 loads for heavier bullets

I found 2207 a bit slow Ron, 2205 was the go before and after K'ing it.

Re: Approx Cost of reloading for .22 Hornet?
Hi DB, the Ruger Hornet is a nice rifle, great magazine, with one fault - the two piece bolt wears and becomes sloppy between it's two sections which affects accuracy. Re: Which Rifles: Can you please help - Now have PROPERTY LE
22LR, 222 or 223, choose a 3rd bigger cal when you have some more experience, 243, 260, or 308 - any of those will bowl pigs. The 243 some say is a bit light for big, mud encrusted boars but is ample for goats, roos, and can double as a varmint rifle with 60-70 gn bullets. A 308 will be ample for an...

Re: Stolle Atlas 6PPC
Fit and finish look great - but I reckon the grip cap is way too big - I'd reshape it to about 3mm thick (personal taste though) Is it walnut or something else ?

Re: What went wrong?
It looks as if the neck is bulging where the bullet is - like it's been sized down a bit too much ? I've ever seen that in any of my ammo..
