I've polished the mandrel down a touch on my hornet dies, pretty easy to do and stops that annoying suction when the case comes out of the die. You just need to be careful in sussing out where you want to polish it down. I used a drill and some 600 wet and dry, and finished off with 1200. With the A...

These actions will come in more than $500 cheaper than the equivilant to any other maker out there. CHeers AI The $$ difference between an Omark and a BR quality action will go a long way towards a Nightforce scope (which could be transplanted to another rifle). Glued in ?
With a Glued in action, what happens when you need a new barrel ? Is the action glued to a bedding compound using epoxy, which could be unstuck with a heat gun ? Do glued in actions ever come unstuck at inconvenient moments ?

Shane, could you give us a rough price for the action work on the Omark ? Would you make Jeff's version of the barrel adaptor if there was enough demand ? I'd like to do it all myself but it's just too much $$ to get a lathe and go thru the learning curve to get to the point of turning out a good re...
