Re: Hunter Class Rimfire silhouette rifle - Annie 1416 D HB?
You could both send me your CZ and Annie (for free) if you are not happy with them- heh heh :D . Been sifting the usual forums and it doesn't appear that anyone has a "true" fix for the common ejection problems with the 64 action. Seems a bit hit and miss. Surely Anschutz would want to dev...

Hunter Class Rimfire silhouette rifle - Annie 1416 D HB?
Just wondering if anyone uses an Anschutz 1416 D HB (Heavy Barrel) clasic stock for Rimfire silhouette and/or if it fits in the Hunter class? I know the weight limit is 3.86 kg (Total rig), Wwich the rifle should fit well under (supposedly 2.9 kg rifle only + scope (VXIII 65. -20 EFR) 0.5 kg and rin...

Rimfire silhouette ?? - Optics
I know its a little off topic but I know there is a wealth of knowledge here on AR silhouette and I'm guessing that some would shoot rimfire and center fire. I'm looking at getting into Rimfire Silhouette. I had a brief taste a few years ago using a springer AR and had a great time. Due to a signifi...

Lyman Crusher II Pro Kit or RCBS Partner Kit
Hi,
I'm think about getting into reloading for a 223. What would be the better kit to purchase (both have been reduced in price and are with $20 of each other)?
What else would I need apart from consumables?
Cheers

Rem 700P 223 with factory ammo
Hi, Just wondering if the 700P in 223 (with the 1:9 twist rate - weight 9.0 lbs ~4.09 kg) will accurately shoot factory 50-55 grn ammunition? Would I be better off with a 700 VSF or a VS SF II with the 1:12 twist rates and both 8.5 lbs ~ 3.86 kg in weight). I'll be looking for a do it all rifle. A b...

Re: Tikka M55 deluxe opinions?
I'm looking at getting one. It has been re-barreled with a stainless barrel in 223. My only reservations is that it was done using a Ruger barrel. Do you think it is still worth it

Little HMR How did you get the pill out? a gunsmith or did you do it yourself? Never come across that problem before. Is it ok to use a cleaning rod to push that pill out mate? Cheers Geoff Mate, I tapped it out myself from the muzzel end with great care. The cleaning rods female end centred nicley...

Im very very tempted to get one of those sweet 17 scopes that are made for the 17hmr. Cheap as chips on ebay. Brad Y, I had the same thought and purchased a 6-18 by 40 BSA sweet 17 with AO off Ebay. I used it to replace a Bushnell Elite 4 -12 on my Ruger 77/17 (i was going to use the scope Bushnell...

I had a few split cases in my Ruger 77/17. It seemed to be batch orientated. I also had a Remington pill get lodged in my barrel a few inches after the primer went off but the powder didn't take (see photo) http://ausvarmint.kjd84.com/forum/userpix/525_IMG_2322_small_1.jpg Didn't cause any damage, l...

With the 17HMR i usually stick to rabbits and foxes. I used the air rifle soley for indian mynahs and pigeons, however, its getting hard to find places to shoot safely around Sydney (especially with my work place changing venues). I will be trying the airrifle on some rabbits under walk about spotli...
