Re: Cz 527 223

Also sold my 204R Pierce with the nice sako 75 timber stock than brought to back of my brother than decided the pretty stock just didn't suit me and sold it. Then had Ned Kelly set to make another nice timber stock but changed mind when Crackers said I could have his other piece of laminate. Should ...

Cz 527 223

Have a a CZ 223 in safe for years dont use it much. Had the bolt machined down to get scope lower and the trigger adjusted by LGS. Its always shot good for the sporter barrel. Decided to get a mini-thumbhole of Hatchers to try but most likely sell it. Finished the stock with Organoil and sealed it f...

Re: My birthday presents

I think you need to start a thread of what you have built still have and sold with pictures. It would be a lengthy interesting topic.
I recon its awsome that you have gone through so many rifles. :D

Re: RE: Re: If you had

don't get shotguns at all. Class can't be brought or learnt, you are either born with it or you're not :) A nice shotgun is a work of art a good rifle is more an engineering exercise. Waldo so true about a shotgun being a work of art, somehow wood and steel have been combined to create a gun which ...

Re: If you had

I like a nice rifle but if funds no issue I would spend up big on a shotgun. A nice shotgun is an extension of your body and when you throw to your shoulder what ever you look at gets hit. Rifle all precision aiming a good shotgun is all feel. I can look at Rifles and drool over it but I have to hav...

Re: Spotlighting helper

Spotlighting foxes in SW Vic during winter with above ankle high grass can be a pain in the arse. I have walked driving 3 of us looking and giving up. Come back next day and found them with wheel marks right beside where I have found the fox. Always take a dog now, no mucking around he soon finds th...

Re: Wearing out a barrel

Mark I bought the wrong contour barrel. I'm just mucking around safe in the knowledge that if this burns barrels as badly as I suspect I will have done all the experiments by the time I order the new barrel. I'll load a few up and try them at the missedathon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk What ...

I hope that's camouflage and not what you walked through last time you wore them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Mud from Saturdays Hamilton hunt and drying them out next to fire. Tried to cross a creek to cut a fox off that dogs were on about 8 metres across was only a bit below knees and beca...
