Looks great trevort. Good choice in colors of the stock. I luv timber stocks but think mcmillan marble stocks look equally good.

Re: Nightforce BR scopes for varmint and spotlighting

I think it would a great varmint scope. I found the nightforce cross hairs not the best when illuminated as it flared a little on the cross hair more so when all you have is 2 red eyes spotlighting and a bit fine non illuminated . During day found it an excellent varmint rifle scope. I use a Nightfo...

Re: Mossberg Thunder Ranch MVP Patrol 5.56

No way would I be buying a mossburg ahead of a remington. I doubt theres not plenty of 223 remingtons available in Aus. Theres also plenty of of rifles available in Aus better than mossberg. I also believe that rifle brand preference is a bit like how you have your coffee or Alcohol . Everyone has t...

Re: That bloody eyreishman

Thought our flag was red white and blue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Exactly Glen, there are no stars and stripes on my stock just a patriotic red white and blue. And to me its an aussie stock but just in case anyone wants to be technical the British flag was around before the US one and...

Oh, it's very bright isn't it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro[/quote] Thats for Sure. Not sure if it will grow on me or not. Geoff has done an amazing job of the stock matching the different laminates. The only reason I will be selling it is if the shape wont suitthe purpose I want from it. Ie...

Your right. Its no fun having a boring 223 that shoots bug holes with factory ammo. Much more fun spending money on custom barrels and actions and trying different loads to get them shooting bug holes. :?
