Rinso, Optically there's nothing much between the Sightron and the loopy. And I like the Sightron better as my loopy 36x is the 'old model' not the new style with the side focus. I think it's about 1 ounce heavier but has a smaller dot. It's more user freindly than my loopy in regards to the focusin...
