Re: Newby to reloading question

Sounds like you have been measuring factory rounds mate. He means the OAL of your chamber. Measure that and knock 1/16 of an inch which is as you said 1.5mm.

Re: Looking to go centrefire

As the boys said mate go the .223 if your not going to reload, otherwise Id suggest the 22-250. My cousin was using that wolf ammo in his .223 CZ 527, it shot real well and at the time was only $8 per box of 20. Welcome to the forum aswell champ. P.S. when I read your name I got Rodney Rude stuck in...

Re: Your Cheapest Centrefire Load.

I worked out ages ago that my 22-250 was only costing me 37 cents or something around there with 55gn V Max, but that was long before everything went up in price.

Re: Tell me why I NEED a RCBS Chargemaster

I was going to get one, but since i couldnt justify the cost I instead got an RCBS thrower. You can now get the stand for it that has a built in trickler. So i can now throw a charge just under weight and trickle it up in one easy motion without dicking around moving the pan to and from the scales. ...

Re: The basics

Mine broke and was welded together twice, my mate snapped the handle off the priming tool Green is good!!!!! The cuz broke his FLS for his 300 win mag. The litt...

Also, do away with the lube and the lube pad and get a can of the Hornady Oneshot case lube.
You can lube 50 cases in 4 seconds!

Re: The basics

As Macca said if its green its good, I have a "partner" press and haven't had a hassle with it though it takes a little more effort to FLS larger cases.(WSM in particular) Buy the best you can afford, save a little extra and get the RCBS kit. My cousin went out and bought the Lee kit and i...
