Aftermarket stock
G’day fellas, I’ve got a Remington 700 long action that is chambered in 375 H&H. Being now in my 60’s I find the recoil more to my disliking. So now I’m looking at an aftermarket stock which I can use for hunting and target shooting. This rifle will be a switch barrel job, 375 H7H and 300 Win ma...

Re: Jerky
With those stackable trays, do you have to rotate the trays to get a even dryness from top tray to the bottom tray
Or do you just leave them as they are?
Been looking casually at getting a dehydrator.

Re: Case Lube
Is that article Glen Zediker? If I’m loading up to fifty cases I use Imperial wax, wonderful stuff. Now when I have to load cases, one hundred or more, my lube technique changes. One large zip lock bag, Lee lube. The amount I put in is about half the size of an almond. I dab the lube all around the ...

Very interesting
I think I would need this press to go with those dies.

Re: Powder prices are getting rediculous.
Well, SARA just put up their prices and they are the last ones to do so here in Adelaide.
2208 was $343, now it’s $360 for 5Kg.

Re: .260 loads with Hornady 143gn eld-x bullets
Even though this is for a 28" barrel and I'm using Berger 140 you can start with a load of 39.5 and go from there. Also all the loads had a .020 thou jump to lands. I found a accuracy node at 2650 FPS, it bug holes. The next accuracy node was at 2800 FPS which gave me a slightly larger group at...

Interesting way of
Doing load development.
I'm in the process of working up a load in the 223. I'll give this a try.

Re: Switch Barrel Lug
I was looking at this switch lug set up about a year ago and stopped short of buying one. The only problem I could find and this is for my circumstance, is, the switch lug would get in the way of the picatinney scope base. If I were to get this to work I would have to cut a portion of the rail back....

Re: Magnetospeed
The more expensive one has a SD card which stores all the info, which you can put in the computer.
Works out your MV, Min, Max, Avg, and SD.
With the least expensive model I believe you have to write down the MV as there is no SD card in there.

Re: been to the range.
All I'm going to say is that lower light SA is a bastard range and very testing of a wind readers capabilities! My gun shot well though and was happy to part ways with it after a two 15 shot 90's at 700 and 800m and a 119 in a 20 shot 900m then a 82 in a very rough 900m 15 shot match. Congrats to N...
