Tez, Barrel: MAB stainless ... about $400ish for a 24" ... I'd cap the 416WSM at 22". Cant see the need for a "premium" on a working Sambar rifle ... if the 'smith puts it together properly it'll sub-MOA anyway.Cheers...Con 22",mate that's exactly what I was thinking ...

I can't see this stock spitting as these where one of the best synthetic's Winchester bought out. A mixture of graphic, high tec polymer that has a softer more pliable feel(Maybe a Teflon mixture.I have the exact ingredients that went into these stocks, just have to dig it up). Plus they went great in...

I think the 416 makes the most sense particularly using the Woodleigh 335gr PP. Your all up weight should be okay as long as a Decelerator pad is used and the stock is fairly straight. Your recoil figures will also be verging on cross-bolt territory ... make sure your bedding is well sorted out as ...

WSM WILDCAT

Okay it look's like Tezza might build himself a new toy    . I will be fairly light(Aiming at 3.6kg(MAX) scoped & ready to hunt). Scope will be a Vx11 2-7x33 with a set of Leupold QR mounts & rings. Also whilst I'm building, put on a set of low profile type open sig...

Re: Tikka T3 Lite 223

I just thought Id get on here and say that Im really impressed with the tikka's value for money. The trigger has got to be the best out of the box trigger I have ever seen. There's is no creep and its already set at a perfect hunting weight. And there's even simple easy to follow instructions in th...

I have to say, when I have had the chance to check them out over the counter I've never been impressed either. But they are bloody cheap.

I've owned a couple of Remingtons, never let me down in any way.
Both where very accurate.

Mate tell me more about those ruger VT's .
What do they sell for?
