Re: Shadetree rest top by Butch Lambert
Hi Jason, Just came across this post. The Shadetree is worth the cash. Easy to take apart for yearly cleaning, almost too simple inside with very few moving parts. By too simple I don't mean it in a negative way, it's very robust and not over engineered. User friendly to fine tune to how freely you ...

Re: Scope repair Northern NSW???
+1 for Optical Restorers. A club mate had his 20 year old Redfield target scope repaired/refurbished by Malcolm. Reckons it is like a new one again. FYI. To make a repair to the objective lens retaining ring. remove the optical system, clean and repair. elevation/windage system overhauled/adjusted. ...

Re: Why Are No Actions made in OZ!
Dennis Tobler had a go at making an action. He made 9 or 10 of them.

a.JR,
thanks for the reply. Me thinks though that the fast blind shooting does appear to produce smaller groups but spotted shooting appears to produce higher scores. So whats more important score or group?
It seems that S.O.T.Y. is awarded for score or is there also a S.O.T.Y. for group?
cheers jt.

I was wondering that if David G set the heighest score then it maybe implies that marked shooting has a good advantage over blind shooting even though its slower? Or is it that for tricky days picking through the condition is probably the way to go and rapid shooting blind is better for easy days? I...

Hello Peter, welcome to the forum. When you enter in a Queens shoot you are not asked to fill in any equipment list so unless someone makes an effort to make one up and then pester everyone to fill it out, then no one is going to know what you want to know. Also a lot of shooters are browsers and no...
