Re: Hydro Forming Dies
I used one to improve 338 Lapua brass, The trick with a hydro die is you have to improve the case more than you need and the size back down. The 338 Lap case neck was only going 6.5mm in the die, hydro then resize. I tried 6mm but it wrinkled the shoulder when I resized them. It worked well. You won...

I'm on my 3rd set of BF Goodrich AT's!
I get 70+K out of them.
They work very for what I do.

Re: 22x47 Lapua
Glenn a while back a young bloke i met up with at the range was chasing 300 WM brass. I offered him weight sorted RWS brass at $2 each and what i had left of my brown box and long discontinued Lapua at $2.50 a case. He declined and some time later i saw that he had purchased Remington brass. Around...

Re: 22x47 Lapua
After buying lapua x47 brass once I swore I’d never pay ransom money for it again. Yeah, I have a lot of 6.5x47Lap brass, If I see it I buy it! Then thing is I am still using the first hundred I brought when I built the gun! They have 6 or 7 firings on them with probably as many again, from all acc...

Re: My latest purchase
The 22 Creedmoor was blowing up SMK's? I never owned a 308 till late last year and I have to say the results I'm getting on Sambar have been amazing! I put down some big bodied stag with 1 shot in the front shoulder! Shit antlers! They go 20 to 50 yards and drop! Been getting a lot of my projectiles...

That is awesome!
So what are you building on the 3 uppers?
This is a bad thread for me!
It's the closest I can get to a AR!

Re: Thermion.
I have three large batteries now because of the power issue Tony! I was going to sell my XM38 and get a XP50 because of the small field of view. I talked to a bloke from the importers he said, "is the field view the only issue"? Yes! Once you're on the animal the scope works really well. H...

Re: Anyone else got a veggie garden going?
Jealous much The water here kills plants Yeah I seen that on A Current Affair the other night! Its certainly a pretty colour! My father in-law worked for the water board down here and said that's what happens when councils look after the water, they have have no knowledge or expertise of how to tre...

Thanks Missed!
It take a bit to get them that clear but the results are worth it!
Yeah I seem to leave it on red hot, I tried white seem to go back to red to find deer in the bush.
I use white to shoot it in.

Re: Thermion.
I brought a Pulsar Thermion XM38 March last year. I put it on my Defiance Rebel 260, shot a few deer with it but had issues with bullet performance so I had it rebarreled to 308 and have not looked back! I'm using Sierra 150gr Pro Hunter projectiles, they are a flat base Gameking, they are working e...
