Re: Restoring a lost cause

Your patience is to be admired.
A great effort.

With all the different surface coatings for wood and metal now available, nothing is really beyond repair.

I'm sure if the gun could talk. It would say a big thank you.

Re: FX Impact

Buy a regulated BSA R10 @ $1500.00.

I'm sure you'll find a way to blow the $800.00 you'll be left with.

Ok Geoff, let's call it 50.292 metres.

And yes Matt, the woodwork on these is stunning for factory guns

Re: Show us your PCP

Bought brand new in 1988 along with the Leupold 6.5-20 x 40 scope.

Just tap on an image.

I love the app, pic stitch.

The majestic BSA R10 @ 55 yards

IMG_2627.JPG IMG_2585.JPG IMG_2625.JPG Probably the best $1500 you could spend on a PCP, regulated, boringly accurate given the right pellet( JSB Exact jumbo heavy), sling swivels, cold hammer forged barrel, numerous custom after market parts to personalise your rifle. And a stock with more curves ...

Re: The Tikkler T3x 308 Fluted Hunter

Nice one.

Do you have to re- size the pics ?

I have cropped some of mine and they are still too large.

Re: Newby the air rifles What the best you can get in Australia

Out to 100 yards on foxes I'd be choosing the .22 Magnum. At longer ranges on small pests like rabbits and Hares, the flatter shooting .17HMR wins hands down, problem is, the quality of the .17 ammo is terrible at the moment. Air rifles on foxes for me is a no no, too much of a chance of a runner. E...

Stock was lovely Gavin, also the quick fill and trigger, I just couldn't get it to group.

Re: Hw 100 FSB

The word Polygon comes to mind, by then I'd lost interest.
Shame really, apart from the clunky action and inaccuracy, I really enjoyed it.

Re: Hw 100 FSB

The only PCP I couldn't get to group with any sort of pellet, and I tried all the good ones available.

The HW100 in FAC are notorious for being inaccurate, just check out the Internet forums.

If you do get one, best of luck with it, you may be lucky.

Mine was in .22 cal .
