Laying out the targets is OK. You are right though, time is the killer. Also setting up elevation is a bit tricky, as any measurements you made at horizontal then have to be performed again, but at the angle. Chairgun looks to be a good thing.
Ballistic AE only works if you are running IOS, which I'm not, but it looks like a pretty great program.

I'm trying to find examples of a good ballistic chart showing incline also.
