I use a solarforce m8 mounted mounted to scope when the spotlight is off and always pretty happy with it. I am always looking for torches to add to the collection I might look into the Olight M3x javelot never heard of it until now.
The solarforce is the best ive used so far though.

Any old rabbit/dog traps kicking around?
Awhile ago I bought some old rabbit traps for my brother to hang on his shed wall and I was surprised that some can be worth a bit of money to collectors with some going for thousands. Most I have seen are sold from $20 to a couple of hundred and dog traps seem to go for at least a couple of hundred...

Re: Hammerli 850 gas options?
After a bit of looking around I have found you are able to get a pin valve attachment for the disposable 88g co2 tanks which makes them refillable $20 US. Can fill from standard co2 cylinders like paint ball which are fairly cheap. Doesn't seem to be much stuff in AU for air guns I found these from ...

Re: Hammerli 850 gas options?
Being a shift worker I can be found lurking any time of the day. Don't worry I will be all tucked in latter in the day. Usually I do a fair bit of research before I buy things like this and may have gone a different direction if I was a little more knowledgeable about air rifles. In this case the pr...

Hammerli 850 gas options?
I just picked up a hammerli 850 that runs on the 88g co2 cinders. I bought this planning on using it pretty much for plincking however I have now calculated the cost of gas and I think the .22 rimfire would actually be more economical. I have read about pcp conversions and also adaptors to fit the 1...

Re: Binoculars from OS experiences?
They are still covered buy international warranty however will need to cover postage costs etc. When looking a little more closely I think I may be better off warranty wise buying from the US. Bushnell Australia only offer a 2 year warranty an these binoculars. Bushnell US offer lifetime limited war...

Re: Binoculars from OS experiences?
I ended up buying from b and h photo. I got binoculars and bushnell chest harness delivered for $340 AU. Through my research apparently Australian Bushnell suppliers have increased there prices recently and the Aussie vendors can not compete with the US price. For binoculars and chest harness in Oz ...

Binoculars from OS experiences?
I am looking to buy some Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42 Binoculars. They retail for around $550ish in AU however can get them from the US for $350ish AU delivered . Has anyone had any experience/problems buying binoculars/optics from the US. I understand warranty may be void if buying from OS however...

Re: Bases and Rings for Tikka
I use burris signature zee rings and burris tactical bases on both my tikkas. They have the plastic inserts which self centre the scope and lessen ring marks. In my experience if scope is mechanically zeroed little adjustment is required when sighting in. One downfall though they only come in med an...

Re: What rifle?
I bought a cz .22 for my first rifle which at the time I thought was quite expensive but reminded me of the Bruno .22 I learned to shoot with as a kid so I shelled out the cash. I will never sell it and look forward to passing it onto my son or daughter when they are old enough. I know quite a few o...

Tikka t3 10 shot mag
Has anyone bought an aftermarket 10 shot mag for the Tikka T3? I have come accross two different makes lucky 13 and AIHPA. The lucky 13 one is plastic and is currently available. The AIHPA is aluminium and will be available June 2015. http://www.aihpa.com/Sponsor/Tikka_T3_Mag_Options/T3.htm https://...
