Re: scope choices
Trev,
I run the hd5-25 x 50 target turrets and a varmint reticle.
Gives me hold overs for spotlighting or quick shots and the ability to click when I have the time.
Happy for you to have a play with it if you want to meet up at one of the locals.

Re: 223 or 222 Magnum
The .223 wissum would certainly be a bit different and probably a real hoot to shoot (and the bloody cases don't have thick necks I believe?) Its loud and obnoxious it eats powder like there's no tomorrow...you need to consider putting $2 into a jar for each shot to pay for barrels and the mu...

Re: 5.6x57 development
Ringed bullets means the neck tension is different to the others...thus different poi  bt, Not if its the seater that is doing the "ringing" i.e. a "sharp edge" that Waldo has taken care of with his builder bog formed - seating die. However in the name of science, I will c...

Re: 5.6x57 development
On doing some more thinking on the matter... is this fireformed brass or virgin brass with the bullets pulled?
Given the weight variations yo discussed who knows re the quality of manufacture.
Fireforming just might fix your issue.
