Re: Corryong 1000yd results 4/10/14
Still looks like nobody is going to give Jacko much competition this year with the way that heavy gun is running.

Re: Canberra 1000 Yard Results - Sept 2014
Looks like a tough day with the conditions but curious why it was shot on electronic targets rather than the 1000yd paper target. It IS shot on the IBS 1000 yard target. It is just not physically scored or measured on the target. To be honest, I have no problem with that. I'm happy with the sub mm ...

Re: examples of " jacko's" 2014 1000yd IBS BR efforts
I hear this may be a result of Jackos load development consisting of more than "Jam in more powder" lately.

Canberra 1KBR May
So I am getting these results up pretty late. But they are up in the results section. The shoot was run on the Canberra rifle clubs new Kongsberg electronic targets, which was interesting. Before starting the shoot, we had 2 shooters fire a couple of shots on the targets and recorded the measurement...

Re: Reamers
A mate of mine may have happened to have bought every single reamer Shane Clancy owned, a couple of weeks ago. I can ask him if he has either the 20br or dasher reamer if you want?

Haha what a moron. The things you do when you have too much time on your hands! I have to disagree with you on this Keith. An active mind is where true innovation comes from. While this may not be it, at least the bloke is amusing himself and not clogging up the health system with imaginary symptom...

Re: 300Win LR Gun to Ladder Test or Not.
Good one Mick. I forgot Jacko and Jeff went to the same school of reloading. I'm not sure Jacko hasn't been abducted by aliens and replaced with a clone. I heard something from him at the Canberra Fly the other weekend that is so out of character I almost fell over. It was "I'm loading them do...

Sounds a lot like the Jacko method of tuning a rifle.Tony Z wrote:There is a third node, which i call the Jeff Rogers node, but unfortunately few actions or brass can reach that point.
Not shooting how you want it to? Whack more powder in. It's ok till the primers start falling out.

Canberra 1KBR March 2014
Well, good roll up after the BRT 500m Fly Nationals on the Saturday. Was looking like we would be rained out in the morning, but that passed very quickly. New Australian Light Gun record shot by Peter Varley, at 2.010". Was using a rifle borrowed from John McQuire chambered in 6.5x47 Lap. Amusi...
