Neck size vs full length size

Have been neck sizing my 204 but now the cases that have had a few goes are getting tight to chamber and need full length sizing. Have been doing a bit of research and was thinking of setting up my FL die to partial size every time instead of neck size and FL when needed. Just wondering what you guy...

Re: My attempt at bedding an action

I've got all the gear here mate if you want to have a go. That would be great! :D Maybe after another recon sambar...

Re: Help reading L.D results

I'm new to this reloading bizo but would say 5 shot groups at longer range give clearer results?

Re: My 404J is finally finished!

I have a 602 375 h&h in the safe at the moment that is pretty tired; your build feralbuster is exactly what i have been wanting to do - any tips? Why the 404?

Re: What would you build . . . ?

Do you already have an action? If not get a short action and make a 300wsm, does everything a 300wm can do; easy to carry in the hills and hits hard.

Re: z5 or hd5

15x is great with a light especially if your with some eles who is covering the short stuff. Great scope with the zero stop turrets, the rapid z varmint reticle looks a bit cluttered on paper but it works well. Zeiss have a balistics calculator online where you imput your load details and it gives y...

Re: z5 or hd5

I have a hd5 5-25x50 on my howa 204 with the varmint reticle and its a beast! 25x magnification is a lot though when your in the field, but is awesome for target work or when you have a stable field setup.

Re: scope leveling

Thanks for the advice, i used the level accross the bases and on the top turret method. Now to check its tracking alright at the range.
That was the original problem, short range was fine but at longer range it wasn't tracking right because it was canted.

scope leveling

Just wondering what is the best method to level a scope, ie. Make sure the reticle is square with the action.just put a zeiss conquest 5-25x50 on my new howa 204 stainless heavy barrel and i swear it crooked. Shoots ok but i want to do it properly
