Re: All you scope enthusiasts

trying to get a dual purpose anything means a specialist nothing I reckon. You are a stalker with a light stalking rifle I would have though a light low mag stalking scope would match. Maybe a 3-12 max. Are the 400m deer seen frequently or do you want to concentrate more on rabbit whacking with you...

Re: All you scope enthusiasts

I just got a Sightron V-Tac 2.5-17.5x56 for my 223 and its seems good so far, havent had a lot of time behind it yet. S-Tac? I LOVE my S-Tac such an awesome scope especially for the money! Yes mate, i meant S Tac, my brain wasn't talking to my fingers. I don't do the light weight rifle thing so i c...

Yeah okay. I'd potentially be reaching out to 400m plus which is why I'm a bit concerned over the Z3.

Re: All you scope enthusiasts

I think that'll be the go, Sako.
When you say 'long range' in regards to parallax adjustment, what kind of distances do you classify as long range?

Cheers

Re: All you scope enthusiasts

The Z3 and Z5 are great scopes. Personally I would want less on the lower end 2.5/3 max, 4 is a little too much for close shots. What distance you think you might shoot out to? I use a 3.5-10 SIII Sightron out to 600-700 no troubles. Shooting game and targets are completely different, you don't nee...

All you scope enthusiasts

After buying new tyres for the lux and having a bit of tax return left, ill be looking at buying a new scope for the 300 in the next couple months. Main reason for this is I'll be having the opportunity of stretching the legs on it a bit on the Sambars. The criteria that I'm looking for are: -Minimu...

Ok Spacie. That photo has me convinced I need to tAke you up on your offer. Don't stand on that track too long. You'll get trampled in the rush Yeah you know your new property is alright when you're whistling foxes at night and you get honked about 30 times from the private bush ;) If the freezers ...

I wish they were all this easy

I've been busting my ass trying to find some camel-suitable land haha, got a property where we can walk on the flat and shoot at them up a hill haha. They might even roll to our feet if we're lucky enough to deck one [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH] Haven't seen one there yet but looks ok for a last l...
