Why not use a clip-on coloured lens? One time they were only available in red which I used with great success on rabbits and foxes. These days they come in all colours of the rainbow, one mate swears by the yellow lens while another finds the blue better particularly on nights with heavy frosts or s...

Nice collection there, Seddo. I too am in the process of having a 300/357MAX made up, might be able to compare notes in the future. That last photo is a beautifully styled rifle.
On the 2nd last, is the gap between fore-end and action because it's a take-down?

Some interesting information here, but what about looking at it from a different perspective. Both NSW National Parks and RLP Board use silenced .243's and .308's for certain culling operations, ammunition used is Lapua factory loaded sub-sonic rounds. Heard on the radio to-day that new National Traffic Laws will make VDU's (Visual Display Units) illegal if they can be viewed by the driver !!! Argument is that Navman style GPs units are VDU's. Argument against is that they are 'drivers aids' and therefore exempt from the new laws. Might be worthwh...
