Re: Out shot by TYB again

Good on both of you. Dad for the support and TYB for his results. Great to see the future of the sport is progressing so well in the youth of today. It's also a time to reflect when the son beats the dad and you begin to realise they are no longer the young kid you let "sometimes" beat you...

Re: Alice Springs Masters Games 10 - 18 Oct 2014

That's the beauty of living in the centre .... everything is just up the road from here. It's interesting to note about how where you live and your interests influences your perception of distances. When I lived in Brisvegas it was "normal" to drive up north to Hervey Bay for fishing...

Re: Around Alice

I'm planning to be in SA May next year with the love of my life :D don't just take your rifle, take the missus too  Lived in Yulara for 8 years before moving to civilization in Alice Springs  that 5k wind you mentioned would have been 30 + at the top. Over 27 people have died by falling...

Re: Must see places in Tassie

Lived there for 13 years before moving to the N.T It will really depend on the weather on the day. If you like nature them the limestone caves out near Mole Creek are good King Solomon and Marrakoopa guided caves, take a picnic/food with you. Cradle Mountain is another spot (all north end of Tassie)...

22 lr selection guide

A friend of mine wrote and posted this to me awhile back. It has been posted by me onto another forum as well as my pistol club website. While he makes mention of the 17WSM he does not talk much about the 17 HMR Mk2 which I have not read much discussion about anyway. However I do have his permission...

Re: Reload cost

Wouldn't be to hard for someone with a little talent to work it into the program. A section for equipment cost and another for total rounds loaded could soon be made to generate a cost per round. Same with brass, a cost for brass and then a number of times reloaded box could generate a real cost fo...

They have been checked out for accuracy by a couple of...
