Re: Choosing a seating depth to start L.D
From my experience with 260 in current Sako, you will run out of space in the mag before touching the lands, hope the Tikka mags differ for you.

Re: Tips on taking the warp out of a stock ?
Personally I would try to re-bed it. But beware I have re-bedded a few rifles in my time and you really need to be careful that their is nothing left in there that could align it back to the bad way. Bedding really isn't that hard but it is messy, a Dremel will fix a multitude of errors but it's far...

Re: LGS rant
I recently had Alliant reloader 15 and 19 picked up for me from Qld, Nioa did not have any 1lb containers in either of these popular powders, Australia is a miniscule market for Alliant, Nioa have no reason to stock any quantities as they can't transport it into Nsw. Double jeopardy in my books.

Re: LGS rant
Winchester is in Vic so I would assume the same problem with transport would apply. Is it NSW people having this trouble or are Vic shooters suffering the same fate?

Re: LGS rant
If Nioa is the stockist for ADI powders, we are screwed, they don't have stocks, they can't ship it so why would they have quantities on hand. I recently purchased two 5lb tubs of Alliant powder, as Nioa had no stock of 1lb containers, ADI is an Australian product I think, so how do they get it to N...

Re: A few test shots with prototype ACP .22 calibre pills
Would love to use an Australian product, how are they priced?
I'm using blitzkings 55g at 3650fps (22/250) anyone had any experience with these pills at these speeds.

Re: Hi everyone
Mmmm, I'll try again!
not after a debate, I have a 243 Sako, and another in a 6mm rem Tikka, just wondered what cal is that much better for you blokes, my 22/250 puts them all in an inch at 400yds. I love it but the faster and flatter the harder on the barrel, yes?

Re: Hi everyone
Perhaps I'm out of touch, it's not a barrel burner, brass is cheap, it's easy to load, enough punch to drop most things, without a big kick. Not being a smarty but am happy to be re-educated!

Re: Hi everyone
Hi folks I'm new to this but was rather shocked to see that someone would consider a 243 in a Sako as a bad choice, 6mm rem would have been better?
