Re: New Front Wing

Camel - it's a "glue in" bedding job. The barreled action is glued in to the stock, no screws holding them together. The two holes are for access to tap out the pins so the trigger can be removed if/when necessary I thought there were some rules regarding forend width - or is that only for...

Re: You know what i hate the most about shooting...

I'm not going to wade into the custom v off the shelf argument because I think the positives and negatives of both make it purely a matter of personal choice, but what what does the total cost of that become factoring in smithing costs Tony? Tony shows $140 for chambering and crowning (what about h...

Re: You know what i hate the most about shooting...

This forum, and another couple are partly to blame for me finding out about custom built guns, what is possible, and how to go about getting it. I have used the services of TSE, Shane Clancy, and Jim Kent. All do a great job, I supplied all parts after buying them piece by piece when opportunities a...

Re: I never thought this day would come ??!

Should tide you over OK - just beware the odd dud round, check your barrel is clear if you fire one that doesn't sound right. A few have got a fright, and some rifle damage when firing a second round with a bullet stuck in the barrel.
