Re: are we ready for todays stupid question
Yes i believe the TicTac with Re 19 and the 103 Copperheads was getting over 3400 fps with no pressure signs in a 30 inch tube. That's still 3250 fps in a 24 inch tube. The only other 6mm they reckon is worth owning for 1K BR besides the 6 BR with groups around the 1 inch mark at 6oo yds. I believe ...

Re: Group analysis from the LR Experts
I agree Dave. You buy what works at whatever the cost as we both know it will perform. My old HG had 50 RWS cases for its first 2400 rounds before i retired them. The barrel went on to do over 3000 rounds where the load was a 200 SMK doing 3140 fps. A load that you won't find anywhere except maybe o...

Re: Hamilton rifle club 300 and 400 yard feral shoot
That looks like a real fun shoot you all had. Back in the 90s i ran something similar where we had the Lever gun targets set out with the crow at 200, rabbit at 300, fox at 385 and oinker at 500 meters. As you can guess they were marked off the silhouette ranges but after some people started to post...

Re: 6BR and Tikka t3
Albow, some years ago TZ built a very slick little number on a M55 of 22/250 base magazine size that was a switch barrel in 6BR, 25BR, 7BR and 30 BR. It was later left as 30 BR and i believe Danno (Wiz) has this rifle in the NT now after Earl Mac sold it to him. Earl had it as his deer gun in 30 BR ...

Re: Rifle Issues
If it shoots low at a 100 yards and high at 200 yards and the rifle is of normal configuration then the problem lies with either the organic component or a massive change in barrel/scope/parallax alignment between sessions. Have you shot it in reverse order? Is there a parallax and scope power shift...

Re: N-D 1000yd BR -November 2012
Well done to all at the ND club and especially to Dave for his ongoing coalation of the the postal results for the past couple of years. We are all counting down for next July. I see Jack has the BR humming so i guess he doesn't need a better tube or those CopperHeads for next season? Beau Guest. ak...

Re: New Front Wing
Very impressive video Alan. For those who don't know that is a 30/06 AI based off the 9.3x62 case firing 175 grain smks at 3000+ fps. Flawless cycling from an Omark action with a roller cam. Wonder who came up with that idea?
