Re: Torch advice for the confused please.....
Howdy Pete and welcome to our forum mate. I went with an Olight M3-X on the rifle. The M3-X was my spotting torch and it replaced the inadequate Olight M-21X that was on the rifle. I am very happy with the performance of the M3-X. It has a neat hot spot surrounded by a wide low intensity spill. Grea...

Thanks for your replies fellas. Nice to see the GME is made in Australia. I'm thinking the TX3345 looks pretty good. Cheers all , Brad.

CB Radio Advice please.
Howdy fellas, I'm looking to purchase a cb radio for the vehicle. It's been a long time since I've owned a cb but I do remember uniden was the go in the day. Also remember requiring a licence to use cb at some point. Possibly looking at a Uniden UH8060NB or UH7760NB. I do like all the controls being...

Re: Bit of a surprise but good to hear
usually try and chat to them and get an idea of the seller rather than just the gun. +1 on that. I've bought a few nice ones from abused guns. I offer a non-returnable deposit of $60 to cover a new ad and post so the buyer loses nothing but a bit of time if I knock it back upon arrival at my LGS. I...

Re: Do I have rocks in my head?
Can't go wrong replacing a noodle stock with a Boyd's. Only downside is it will add some heft.
Priceless.Don't listen to the little voices mate, they haven't got a clue what they are saying, its the big ones behind your head you have to worry about, i.e. the missus
Re: Torches ?
Very happy with my M3X Triton. Nice hot spot with very even spill. Eats batteries 2 at a time though, so budget for extra cells and a charger capable of sparking 4 in one hit if you get the M3X. Cheers.

Re: Akkar Churchill shotguns
Hi Buff Buster. We have 3 Akkar trap guns in our club armoury. They are giving good service, especially considering the abuse they regularly cop from inexperienced or non-caring shooters slamming them open and shut all the time. They seem to be well fitted and well built. We've had no problems with ...

Re: Value this
Howdy Buff Buster. That is a Miroku 800 trap gun, circa early 70's. If it has "stirling engraved on the top barrel it was sold new in aust. Imported by Fuller Firearms I think ? from memory. Built like a brick shithouse, hand engraved and checkered. Yours, (the gun, ) has had the stock s...

Re: tactical rings
Hello Matang, try these if you have a dovetailed receiver- http://www.bkltech.com/
Strong, relatively light and well made.
Tell us what receiver you are using and you will get more specific info. Cheers.

Cheers Fenring, I will choose one from the links you supplied.
Most likely the Solarforce M3 (+ext) or the Jetbeam BC40.
Will report how it goes after an in-field test. -Brad.

Hey Fenring, thank-you for the links, also for your time spent researching and writing the reply. Much appreciated mate. I will give them a thorough perusing tomorrow. Re "adjustable focus" - In reality, these lights are either focused or they aren't - Failed to see that one coming, that's...

Torch advice for the confused please.....
Hello forum members, I'm looking for a new torch, a hand held spotter / walker as I'm often not working from a vehicle. I already have a decent rifle mounted torch. I'm utterly dumf@cked  by the plethora of current offerings so any advice would be most appreciated guys. Are adjustable beam as...
