Re: Pics of Gear made to shoot LRBR!
I reckon you'd all agree, the aJR builds some interesting stuff; we never know what's gonna appear on his bench from one shoot to the next... To have 'em built commercially would cost a packet.

Lantus, you'd be welcome. If you do get "down under", post whereabouts you're going to on here and I'm sure one of us'll help where we can....

Trevort's right. The Sako may not be the outright ultimate varmint rig, but would be damn close to the ultimate FACTORY varmint rig....

Re: another Rugged #1?
Missed, very tempting. From what PVM told me, he built it for a mate who passed away earlier this year; little apparent use, no signs of any load development, and it apparently has a stainless barrel (don't know the twist rate), and a Canjar set trigger. THOSE are rarer than unicorn shit. Gee, I'm t...

another Rugged #1?
I was on the dog-and-bone to PVM today, and asked about any #1's he may know about....
Well, he has a 220SwiftAI (with a Varmint forend) on his gun rack that he built for a recently deceased mate. THAT would be some fox/cat/bunny rifle...
Now where to find the munny.....

Great idea from aJR. As Glenn said; he's built some damn good stuff, and he's always "pushing the envelope"

Re: Long range loading?
Top advice from Ned Kelly; all I'll add (learned from all the stuff-ups I make) is to use the best components loaded to the best (tightest) tolerances you can achieve.

Re: HELLOOOO.... I'M BACK....???
OK, here it is. The puta got a bug (don't ask how; I'll leave it to your fertile imaginations!) so I shut the thing down until my young Bro came up for a visit last weekend. Lucky he's a "puta" whiz. Meanwhile the dear old Mum had a slight stroke; she's ok now, just a bit slower, and I pic...

Re: The new breed
Was talking to Tony a few days back; his lounge room was real interesting; rifles and actions and stuff everywhere.
He's putting a "winged keel" on the 6-6.5X47L he's building for me; he must be near as sick-in-the-head as me!
