Re: Thinking of getting a .204rug?
Love my ruger predator 204. Very accurate and feels great to shoot. I agree they get smoother in time. It all comes down to what feels best and your budget. After you get one that feels right on the shoulder, put a good quality scope on it and you'll be in love.

Re: Nosler Shots
I'm about to buy some to give em a go. Not interested in 0.5" groups so also thought it would be appealing. Most information I can gather leads to a very affordable pest control projectile, right up my alley. I'll try em out and will post details when results arrive

Re: .204 ruger factory ammo
I'm currently waiting for my Ruger Predator to show up in .204, bought 100 rounds of the federal 39's, good to hear they shoot alright Will reload 39's afterwards I think as well. I see a heap of handload figures for these getting around, I'll see what this rifle prefers with some testing.

Re: Ruger Predator 204
From what I can gather it's a Hawkeye with a 24" medium weight barrel, 2 stage trigger etc etc. I like the VT but wasn't keen on the weight so much when the predator will do about the same job. Although i'm no expert :) Putting a Leapould VX3 4.5-14x50 scope on it, shouldn't be too bad a settup...
