Re: Anyone Here Anneal
Instead of two pans with the Skip annealer, I just used a ring in the pan and another roller to feed the .223.Without the ring and the bigger roller the .243 to 30.06 cases runs http://i799.photobucket.com/albums/yy272/Gerhardt_Louw/Herlaai/20160825_133200.jpg http://i799.photobucket.com/albums/yy27...

Re: Quick Load
Hi Mick & Con
Here is some information on QL
http://www.the-long-family.com/optimal% ... 20time.htm
Is a bit of a read, but i think it is worthwhile.Once you understand the program and how to calibrate it,it works really well.
Hope you enjoy it.

If a copper bore brush doesn't pull it out,try a round file, Slide it into the chamber until it touch the casing give it a twist, till it stuck and pull it out. Use a small file that will get stuck in the neck to limit the chance to damage the chamber

Re: Is it safe to shoot water affected ammo?
Hi Stinkitup Is it new or reloaded ammo,If it was new ammo,I would open one of them, through the shot out, pull the wad and dump the powder. If the powder is dry and looks normal I would then put the primed case in my gun and fire it.If it works I would use the rest Well this is what I would have do...

Re: Which caliber
Hi Sean
Thanks for your help i will most likely go with the 7mm-08. I just want to look at the .270 short magnum. But looking at the powder ratio. It looks like the .270 is going to be a throat burner and how is accuracy compared to the 7mm
Thanks

Re: Which callibre
Hi
Thanks for the help so far. Think we will go with the 7mm-08. I have a 8.5-25x50 Leupy for the range and think i would look at a3.5-10x40 or 50 both on qd base's for the hunting side. What is the longest range the 7mm-08 would do acuratly.
