New Tikka 7mm08
Nice rig. I've got 1 in 243 synthetic. I've got a 40mm on mine but a 50mm would be useful when spotlighting.

Re: airgun set up for pigeons
You're on the right track. I shoot pigeons in a few factories in Perth. I use an FX Gladiator .22 (adjustable power) pump action with 8 shot mags. I have 4 mags, at least 2 is a must. Low power kills without penetrating the pigeon, med kills quicker, no flapping. High power is for when a cat or rabb...

Re: First Bunny for the FX Gladiator
The cops would say get written permision from the owner because its the most fool proof method but the Act says "expressed permission from the occupier of the land." I tend to had a chat with my owners to make sure they'll be reliable then I just count on them to speak up when the cops ask...

Re: First Bunny for the FX Gladiator
The cops shouldn't be an issue. There is no built up areas rule over here. The requirements are: licence, owners permission, safe (open to interpretation) and not to cause fear. If someone has a whinge it will probably be the last one that the cops will ask about. As long as I try to stay out of sig...

Re: First Bunny for the FX Gladiator
I revisited my new rabbit property after work today and was surprised to see that the owner had got his nibbler out and chopped a hole in the side of his wood shed so I could sit inside and overlook the paddock and wood pile. He even wired some garden hose around the hole so that I could rest the ri...

First Bunny for the FX Gladiator
I shot on a new property yesterday evening. A bunny problem on 5 acres on the edge of town so a job for an air rifle. Luckily I have just recently added a FX Gladiator to my gun safe so I was happy to oblige. I arrived on dusk hoping to take a few in the last light then pop the torch on the scope fo...

Re: 17 hmr
Im not sure if the CZ are supposed to be floated from factory. I tried to slide a piece of paper between the barrel and fore end and had no luck. Left side is clear and the back end(about 10" fwd of the action) is all clear. Just has some light contact at the fwd rhs of the fore end. Im thinki...

Re: 17 hmr
I've got a CZ Classic. The barrel was clear of the stock (floated) straight out of the box. The trigger was fine but a bit heavier than my Tikka so I followed one of DrGs suggestions in another tread and bought a Brookes trigger kit about US$15 and fitted it myself, cheap and easy sub 1lb trigger. I...

Re: looking to buy a LH 30 cal
I've got a 243 T3 lite stainless lefty (see avatar.) No complaints, the trigger should go down to 1.5lbs with a twist of the allen key, 3/4 moa no probs, light and good fit at 6'2". Barrel is only 22" but you can get the longer varmint version if barrel length is important. About $1000 for...

Re: Who's got a T-3 Lite?
I've got a .243 lite stainless, they do leftys so a bonus in my book. Nice rifle, light to carry, shoots ordinary Winnie super X's into about 3/4 inches not that I do much range work. (Christened it with a fox at about 280m. :D ) The rings are silver and good for 40mm scopes. Adjustable trigger is g...

I thought you were trying to suggest we all should shoot left handed, hear hear.
