Re: Guess what I picked up today?

Jack09 keep us posted on the Maddco, I would be very interested in the pricing. Camel, lilja have 1-12 or 1-9 in .20 cal on their website. I was thinking 1-12 as I have a 22-250 which I shoot 40 grainers out of so thought no need for a faster twist as I would stick with the 32 grains. The boyds will...

Re: Guess what I picked up today?

It is an M85 and was $400 from QGE, I was leaning towards the VT but after some research, the cost of dies and the ease of forming brass it will be a .20-222. (Sorry Trevort) I will save a bit more coin and order a lilja from Seddo in #5 profile, 1:12 twist and have not decided on length. I want to ...

Re: Guess what I picked up today?

Sure is Keith's fault!

If you didn't start this forum I wouldn't be building a .20cal.

So thanks Keith.

Re: New 20 cal on Sako.

I was asking myself the same question, 20vt or 20-222 and like you have chosen the 20-222. I have a zastava action and when the funds permit will be getting a lilja from seddo. Hopefully you guys don't wear the 20-222 reamer out in the meantime, I will need the name of the plumber when the time come...

Re: Has anyone added weight to a T3 lite stock

You can now get Boyds stocks for T3's, I put a boyds on my axis and it was the best thing I ever did getting rid of the plastic POS stock. Probably cost you 150 delivered.

Re: Diesel - Which do you use which do you refuse to?

My brother in-law has worked as a chemical engineer in the refining industry for many years and he maintains that BP provides the cleanest diesel available, he has never worked for British Petroleum but has on occasion done various testing and analysing of their products. Therefore I purchase nothin...

Re: One for the wildcatters

The choice of cal is between the 20 vartarg and the 20-222, what is the recoil and noise of the 20-222 comparable to Camel. I am looking for something not overly loud and I want to see the projectile hit the target, at this stage I am leaning towards the vt as I have been reading heaps on it but can...
