Stainless HOWA's

I'm after a stainless Howa and noticed on the Legacy sports page that Howa's are listed as either blued or Grey Cerakoted, yet Australian gunshops list them as stainless.
So are Howa's stainless or just cerakoted to look stainless?

Re: Knives

Corin's video covers just about everything you need to know. The kit comes with all parts pre-cut to fit. Isowool to line the gas bottle. Think pink batts on steroids. Ridgidiser to spray on the isowool. it sets it hard to stop particles breaking off the wool Castable refractory for the floor and a ...

Re: Knives

Yes Mate I make two sizes out of old Gas bottles. A 9kg and a 4.5kg. or if you want to build one yourself I supply a kit to Gameco in Sydney of all the refractory you need to line a 9kg gas bottle forge. All my forges are built to suit a Gameco burner. https://scontent-syd1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/1...

Re: Knives

Here it is with it's pants. flower border and pink stitching to make it even more girlie. This one has a shorter thinner handle than I'd normally do. It was made for a smaller ladies or girls hand. And It's still here waiting for a new owner. https://scontent-syd1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/13909159_758...

Re: Knives

Trevort Just noticed this post and realised what a small world it is. I built Ted's forge, that he probably used to make your knives.
Ted's a really nice guy and makes a nice knife.
They should out last you.

Re: Howa classic laminate varminter

Thanks for the response guy's. I've decided to go with a Howa 1500 varmint blued with a hogue stock in .223 for now and look for an aftermarket stock later on. The most annoying part is I can order a rifle from QLD and get it shipped down to my LGS in the southwest of Sydney for $100 cheaper than th...

Howa classic laminate varminter

G'day all I'm in the market for a new rifle and really like the look of the Howa classic laminate varminter (.223Rem) in the nutmeg/blued that I saw on the legacy website but can't seemed to find any body that stocks it in Australia. I can get a Howa 1500 HB with a boyd thumbhole stock easy enough b...
