Hey keith

Hi mate, i remember you writing an article in hunt and shoot about large bi-pods ages ago(or maybe shooting sticks). The bi-pod that you can fully extend out and sit on your ass and take a shot, with high grass being the problem. I was wondering which bi-pod you found the most durability and quality...

Re: need help on trout fishing gear and tackle

thanks cam, much appreciated.

Thinking on bright Victoria for the location.

I was thinking the exact same thing as the setup as you were mentioning with the rod and reel. I'd like to spend more of my hard earned cash on guns and beer for the up and coming weekend.

cheers for the reply mate.

Re: wolfeyes m2 gun mount

thanks Keith. Just mounted on the front end of the torch and works well. I was a little worried as all the instructions it came with pictured the torch mounted on the tube end. Then went back to the website and realised that they had mounted the torch to where you had pointed out. Batteries are stil...

wolfeyes m2 gun mount

hey fellas,

just received my new sea lion hunter and a m2 scope mount and realised that the m2 doesn't fit a 25mm tube. The mount fits the tube but does not fit the sea lion.
Just asking for who ever owns one of the m2 gun mounts, does it only fit 30mm tube or am I doing something wrong?
thanks

10/22 barrel replacement

Hi all,

I want to upgrade my 10/22 barrel and was wondering if there is anybody in aus who has these. I'm looking for a stainless heavy fluted barrel. I realise there is no market for these in aus and wondering what my options are?

cheers

Re: 1500 chargemaster

when doing 308's its usualy around the 40-50 second mark, 223's can come in around 30 seconds. i havent tried any of the tune up tricks yet but i need to, when using 2209 i get a lot of overcharges. Trust me, McDonalds straw fixes over charges. Large extruded powder bunches up on the little ribs in...

1500 chargemaster

just a quick one guys and girls. What is the average time your chargemaster dispenses a charge. Reason I ask is that I think i have purchased a slow unit. At 25.0g of 2206h it takes on average 45sec to 1 min and every now and then it trips itself out within 1gn and takes like 3min to adjust itself. ...

Re: 22lr birdshot

thanks for the replies gent's, yep your right mulga, rat-shot(no.12) is what i was referring to. I'll have to get within range as i don't want to use low velocity ammo because if i miss I'll put a round thru the shed. thanks for the thumbs up knackers as this is my only 22lr and don't want to harm t...

22lr birdshot

These little Indian myna birds keep eating my dogs food all the time.

I have heard stories that the bird-shot( i think it's no.10 shot or something like that) will scar the 22lr barrel although haven't heard a decent or legitimate reason behind it. Can anybody fill me in.

cheers

Re: The price of US goods in Australia

you might find an extra middleman or two in the queue.

Only if you are paying a lot in tax, lets say 30-50%. Our company has been exporting for years and only costs them around $600 for a 40ft container. Tax is the main issue for distribution in a particular country.
