Wanted stock for howa 1500 short action

Well where i shoot there are stuff all rabbits . It's more hare's , foxes , the odd cat & odd dog . Goats are always around & well as the smaller piggies . So 17 cal doesn't do anything for me . I really wanted a 22 mag but have never seen one that shoots 5 shot groups real well . They seem ...

Re: Your Ultimate Rimfire

Ever heard of a 5mm Remington Magnum? Check it out. know the 5mm well . i have never seen one but it was a bit before my time . the 5mm rem needs a reberth or maybe a new round using thinner brass & better modern projectiles . what is remington doing . instead of butchering marlins give us the b...

Re: what cal for blr ?

Never, ever, shoot a donor action. to late buddy  well since i now have 375 & 454 & a 270 the need for a medium bore short action is fast fading . looks like the old mlr is only going to be a general purpose pig & goat rifle now when range limits the 454  . i recently broke...

Re: Your Ultimate Rimfire

i don't ask for much all i want is a 20 cal rimfire magnum . i'd love the whallop that the 22 mag has with the accuracy of a 17 with a range of 130 - 150 meters for hares cats & foxes & other smaller preditors around the world .

Re: bought one of these

mmm can't wait to get behind this power house . would these houge stocks be the same as the ones on the rugers ??? it seems that most reviews say these rifles don't recoil as much you'd expect. i don't know weather that's from good stock design or efficent cartridge design or both . well i'm sure i'...
