Found it very tedious indeed meplating only to find they dropped 1 MOA. @900m. Too tight to buy a Whidden pointer I reground my centre punch and centre punched an indent into the back of Vice plate anvil. I can feel them coming on when I get too slack in putting the minimum of sizer lube on. Normally one drop of RCBS lube spread on my finger and wiped over 5 cases is just right for reforming my wildcat cases. Simple and effective way is to meplat first but minimum only. Sometimes not needed. Then drive a centre punch into a metal plate or the backside of a vice and place the projectile in the indent and then a very gentle tap with a light hammer and the job is done. I have been using it in my 6.5X55AI. Not much difference to 2209. Definitely not the rocket fuel they claim to get excited about. Ended up using 1 grn. less for the same velocity. Only advantage there would be slightly cooler and longer burn time. Works a tad better in my 6mm. 284 wildcat shortened ...

well not quite but having a primer go off while hammering away at dismantling 243 ammo was enough to near solid my pants. i felt bits hit my face and arms, wasn't wearing safety glasses which i always have while hand loading ammunition. thank my lucky stars that the 45 odd grains of 2209 didn't go ...

Does any one have excess Norma 6.5 X 130grn Black Diamond or Golden Target for sale or swap? I have heaps of 6.5 X 120grn.HPBT Sierra, 6mm. x 105grn A-max and .224 X 50grn. V-max. Have a new project going. I am all excited! Cheers
