what shits me about company's that release sporting 7.62x39 ammo is why the hell it always
has to be berdan primed and in steel cases???????? hornady is no exception!

Adam firstly nice job! a couple of questions tho did you have too remove the original coating? does cerakote stick to bluing? or do you have to treat it in muriatic acid to remove the blue? and where can someone like me for instance buy cerakote and how many coats did you put on it and how many guns...

here my way theres a gun shop called "the stockade" their in the suburb of terry hills
this shop is an explosives dealer and sells black powder, i know cause ive bought 2f off him in the past. http://www.thestockade.com.au/

we had ours valued for a bit over $800 for insurance reasons and its been in our family
since my dad bought it in 1972

i love it, its my main pig gun :D
used with 260gr projectiles, its a one shot kill on 100kg+ pigs

Anyone know of a decent shop with blackpowder in Sydney or Newcastle area? Everywhere I ask in Newey I get we can get some when in Sydney next :( Anyway am after some Single Fg or I think similar is wano P etc. Cheers Ryan Ryan Duck up to the local pistol club look for the great clouds of smoke tho...

I have one too! identical, except for the engraving mine is a clean skin in 44-40
with a saddle ring on the RHS. how much did it set you back?

guys i tried in warm water 50mls lemon juice (1 lemon) and added 1 teasp powdered citric acid to strengthen the solution and it works fantastic! no need for detergent and no corrosion either . the citric acid you get from Coles in the "cake making isle" where you find Creme of tartar the c...
