Re: Prise rise?
All too common mate the wholesales have pretty much out most stuff up 10% lately. Most smaller shops are saying the same thing about availability.

Re: Has anyone added weight to a T3 lite stock
Take the recoil pad off, fill the stock with as much rice as you can tapp it on the ground as you do it to get as much In as posible. If later you want more weight drop some lead shot in the mix.

Giving some thought to the perfect spolighting rig
I have a sako 85 20" 223 that I purchased for this reason. My thoughts are the 204 will be robbed at 20" and at night it will be very blasty. My main criteria for a spotlighting gun was the short varmint profile barrel and top loading magazine. The sako varmint ticked all the boxes for me.

Re: Rem783 vs MarlinX7VH vs Axis?
What about cleavers they were doing the axis for under $500 in the bargains section. I would wait it out that dealer seams too dear. I have owned the marlin in 243 and 3006 I think they wet good budget rifles but I think they were about $500 at the time. The pricing you are talking about you could g...

I had the 3-5-10x50 S1 on my 223 for a while it was very good for the price both spotlighting and general hunting.
Comparable to redfield/ vx1/ Prostaff. I would still have it but it had an ultication with a granite shelf. Dammit

Limb saver will help with the recoil.
You can also fill the stock with rice or what ever you want really.

With a review like that it makes a Howa 223 HB lopped to 20" loaded with 55g Sierra Roo load load look a whole lot better for fox/ spotligting as this was my second option.

Re: I've done something silly.. Ordered a Bmag in 17WSM
I'm hoping it's all just rumors as far as ammo availability goes. My LGS said to me the other day that the Bmag I order will be in anyday now. He said the price has gone up from what he quoted me. He also said he doesn't really care if I buy it or not. So he either wants one himself or he doesn't wa...
