Re: Scope for 22WMR
I've got a 3-9 x 32 simmons on my 22wmr and find it ample in the daytime for my purposes (bunnies & foxes). From memory I bought the scope off someone on the forum for $50. It's no good once the light starts to fade, but will do the job under a spotty. I've recently mounted a nitesite to it and ...

Re: Im now a stall holder at EPIC Farmers Markets in Canberr
Hey Camel, nice work mate. 96 rabbits at one market is a cracking effort! +1 on The Rabbit Bloke. The Bunny Bloke does sound better but will probably put off anyone with little kids who think bunnies are cute  random suggestions; if you can only sell foodstuffs then having something hot to eat...

Re: The next generation of Air Riflemen
Hi Guys, just an update on the restoration project. I've really enjoyed doing this so far... sanded back the stock, gradually moving to finer grit paper till the finish is beautifully smooth. have left the remains of a chip in the cheek piece (a cross between not wanting to patch it and wanting to l...

Re: The next generation of Air Riflemen
I've been reading this forum for a few years now and seen the regular praise for Lewis and his services. Well now it's my turn! talk about doing things the right way! I post on Saturday night, get a perfect reply early Sunday morning, sort out payments etc late Monday night and then get to work on W...

The next generation of Air Riflemen
from what I can gather I am one of many here that learnt to shoot as a kid on an air rifle. Some of my best shooting memories are from that time, using coke cans and plastic bottles full of water as targets or whacking together some shooting gallery ducks with the old man's saw bench and promptly sh...

Looking Good Ol55.
I'm looking forawrd to your reports as I've been eyeing off the revolution for about 6months and I'm not sure how much longer my self control is going to last.

Re: Which top end PCP?
of those two my vote is for the Steyr. have used a couple of these in the past and was well impressed. a guy at the range had one set up with a red dot for rabbits and I was really impressed at the group it put together at 50m just resting on a gun bag... not exactly quiet though... what about the F...

what a great bit of kit. cheers for the pics Fenring.
I've got the old man's SMLE in the safe as well. not sure it's been fired since the 80's so it could do with some TLC as well!

Re: On the topic of doing up old .22's....
great looking 22 Fenring. I love all the stories that come with these heirloom guns. here's mine istting on top of the shotgun case. gd22.jpg This was my grandfather's Remington Targetmaster single shot. he died in 69 almost a decade before I was born, and the old man inherited it and has since pass...
