Re: Custom actions, what brand, who sells them and how much?

G'Day All, seriously consider the follwing points for the Barnard at $1800- from the VRA shop; its a bargain (in no particular order): 1. Comes with a great trigger, i think it can be adjusted to be either single or double stage.......better check this one 2. Can be bedded to a V block which can al...

With optics you normlly get what you pay for, I would say that the Nightforce would have better optics and better "tracking" great optics are no good without consistant adjustments.
I have just bought a March 10-60 and it is unbeleiveable.

Re: NSW Fly Batemans Bay

Sean As Hornsby is a NRAA range getting it up and running shouldn't be a problem all you have to do is book a Sunday with the range committe, organise targets and a form of sighting as splash plates aren't allowed, run the butts and the mound (require qualified staff), score targets and run the stat...

Re: NSW Fly Batemans Bay

Rinso
The rules in question are they match rules (I hope not there are only ten and seem to have worked for 20 yrs) or range rules causing the problem ?????
I hope it's the later, I'd hate see "rule changes" cause a shitfight like some "other disipline"

Re: Which action would you buy?

Al
If I were to build a 6BR/ IMP for 600 or 1000BR I'd go with a Stiller Drop port. Lots of pluses, the biggest IMO is the hard anodise. For any other caliber a BAT.

Re: Electronic target cams

As a 6mm shooter with a fixed 24 power scope, I can very rarely see bullet holes after about the 2nd detail and manage to do OK, I say leave the Fly as it is, not seeing the holes is just part of the match that you have to get used to, my best single target score of a 58.3 was in conditions that I c...

Re: Barrel block

Thanks Tony I have a new barrel on order that I'm thinking maybe a bit heavy for the action so that's the main reason for the block, so the action doesn't have to hold the weight of the barrel. The barrel is at least 3 months away so I've time to think about which way to jump, weight isn't to much o...

Barrel block

Anyone using barrel blocks, thinking of barrel blocking my next build with a delrin sleeve on a alloy stock, any thoughts, for and against, will probably be a 6 BR or BRX.

Of course they were going to bloody well win, what did you expect?
Wait for the world F class championships for more of the same.

Re: Fly Shoot !

Hi All Tes Tony I was using the tried and tested BR this barrel is on it's 3rd chamber and now is about 25" long, I think one of the great things about the Br is the barrels last long enough to (a) really tune them and (b) PRACTICE. If I was to get really serious about FLY shooting I'd probably...

Re: My Latest Stock

Al
What are you filling the stock with ??
I presume that the stocks are soild thru the action area and hollow in the forened and butt to keep the weight down or am I missing something ???
Are you going to do a F Class friendly version of the offset with a 3" fore-end??
