Re: Redding Comp Dies
Type S match die set is $118 USD at D&R Sports http://www.dnrsports.com/acatalog/D___R_Catalog_TYPE_S_MATCH_NECK_DIE_SETS_1640.html They probably wont have them in stock so they can be a bit slow. However they always deliver and correct any mistakes they make. DNR are friggin hopeless, dont was...

Re: BAT 3Lug Rifle Build
Looks great, really like the bolt handle being up so high on a prone rifle.

Re: BAT 3Lug Rifle Build
Lovely work Cameron, I like the fact that you went for a shorter barrel, the BR doesnt need a long one, any chance of a photo showing the RHS of the rifle in profile?

Re: Ruger VT's
Not a VT but had a 77/22 hornet that wasnt great. Ones ive mounted in the shops dont look great- seems the lines on the actions arent very square and i usually have to put aftermarket rings on them as the ones supplied in the box arent that crash hot. It sounds like a poor workman blaming the tools...

Buy a lefty if you are one.
The price difference between a good rifle and a shit rifle is bugger all in the long run.

Re: 7mm/08
I have a really nice older series Remington 700 BDL ( C prefix) in 7mm 08 that has probably fired less than a couple of hundred rounds, shoots beautifully, bedded floated trigger job and about 50 cases that I would like to sell if anyone is interested

Re: fox rifle
Pro shooters fox rifle of choice was the .17 Rem, plenty of grunt and little fur damage. Nothing has changed!! Actually what has changed is that you cant get the remington projectiles anymore, in my experience they always stayed inside, but the hornadys would sometimes really blow the shit out of a...

Re: Need some advise on Scope
This is an awesome varmint scope, more compact than the Nightforce, and great optics, I am a bit flexible with the price, 20 power top end is really necessary with a varmint rifle, and 6.5 bottom end has a great feild of veiw http://ausvarmint.kjd84.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7372" oncli...

Re: 6mm BR Completed
8" twist
Pretty standard loads are working best, 107 sierras and 105 vlds lightly jammed with 29.6 gn 2208, been down to .125 at 100
going to try some 95 vlds
70 sierras with 32.5 2208 shoot about .3
