Re: Time for a 17hmr
The HMR seems real good on the internet. But i don't find the results as good. The price of ammo is high. You can reload most 17-22cal centrefires for cheaper & more accurate, but if you are a volume shooter like fenring you would spend ages in the reloading room. Myself i take out 22LR for mos...

Re: Leeton Fly Results
might be a stupid question, but how much do you need to spend to get into this stuff.. Obviosly not everyone can afford top notch gear..
Ive got a Weatherby Sub MOA that dont get used (22-250)
Would a New Barrel in 6 or 6.5 somthing, with action done up and a good stock get you into business?

Re: Sierra Game Kings Suck!

Re: Tikka or Sako...what's the difference???
Yep, i own both... Both are good, but!
Difference is;
like you said, bout $1000 in price!
The Sako is twice the rifle.. Smoother, 3 lug bolt, Super accurate..
I would buy another Tikka, but i would LOVE to have a safe full of Sako's...

Re: is there any place in aus for semi auto's?
Pretty sure i said we dont need Auto's and that anyone with a genuine reason can get a semi auto, ie Pro's...
I dont really think people need Semi Autos to go on a rec hunt? Thats my opinion? I dont miss them? (i did exclude rimfires from that)

Re: is there any place in aus for semi auto's?

Semi Auto rimfires and pump action shotty's i think should be allowed, but really, why do you need to be walking around with a auto??? Sure, back in the day they were fun to cut down a tree with but other than that who kn...
