Re: Fox Gun

First up,make a secure pen/yard for the poultry, only allow them out under close supervision, next step if you want to is try to trap the Fox.It doesn’t matter how many foxes you kill, there are always more waiting for an easy meal.

Re: Military buffs

It is berdan primed, possibly corrosive, primers well crimped in,I would be wary of the cupronickel projectiles, they are prone to give metallic fouling in barrels. It is a long time since I used it,however my impression was that it was higher pressure than US military ammo, the powder was a square flake.

Re: Something I find a little odd.........

When I started reloading in the 1960‘s,there were backlockers.I had a Gevarm,my brother an Anshutz, probably the idea was to hold the loads to a modest level, probably a step up from the Hornet.WhenI saw Camel‘s data recently I was amazed,if things progress like this,in the future we will see Hornets ...

Re: Rubbing it

On the same topic, if anyone here were to ever want a chunk of Tasmanian Blackwood, or Macrocarpa, Red Maple, or Cypress (not sure how any of those timbers would affect performance, but they're pretty) we have all of these here in large logs at the moment. You'd pay freight of course but the timber...
