Re: Where have all the airgunners gone?
Hi Daisy. I haven't shot my Rapid for years either. I've been meaning to sell it, but my experience with trying to sell it a few years ago (tyre kickers and idiots making bizarre offers) has been putting me off. Where do you think the best place to advertise a used airgun is?

Where have all the airgunners gone?
This used to be quite a busy sub-forum. But I see the last post was in June this year and it didn't get a single reply. The post before that one was over a year ago and it garnered one reply. Are the airgun enthusiasts posting airgun-related topics elsewhere in the ausvarmint forum? Or are air rifle...

Re: Evanix Giant
Glad it’s sorted. I must say, mixing the complexity of a PCP with electronics does sound like asking for trouble. I wouldn’t give up on PCPs altogether. I have a Theoben Rapid and they are pretty robust. They have a dedicated forum devoted to them and a there’s good selection of aftermarket bits.

Re: Fox Gun
I have a Theoben Rapid Mk1 in 25 cal. Apparently it will easily kill a fox at 50m. I say “apparently” because it’s so loud I don’t dare fire it on my land due to the proximity of my neighbours.

PCP mini filling station
This may be of some interest to some of you:

I can't see it being of much use on my Rapid Mk1, as the Rapid's buddy bottle is about the same size as the bottle he uses, which I assume would result in about 100 Bar in both bottles after one refill.

Nice shooting. There’s no way I could achieve a group like that with my Meteor. And that’s with a scope!
The build quality looks way better than the Meteor too.

Re: Any Theoben / Beeman Rapid Owners
Lewis told me it was 40fpe. I've never tested it myself. Never shot a fox either because it is just so loud and I live in built up area. I believe it will comfortably dispatch a fox at 50m.

Re: Any Theoben / Beeman Rapid Owners
It is a Rapid Mk1 in .20 Bought it from Lewis years ago but has seen little use shoots Kodiaks and JSB at around 27 FP has only done around 500 pellets. That's what I should have bought. I bought a 0.25 cal for shooting foxes, but the gun is too loud to shoot in my neighbourhood. The foxes have all...

Re: Scuba tank for sale
I haven't had any problem getting my SCBA tank filled at a dive shop. They might baulk at a SCUBA tank outside of the 12 months though.
