Was sad saying goodbye to him today. In his final weeks Camel and I spoke fondly of some of the awesome people we met trough the AV Forum. He was one such man that i met. TrevorT summed him up very well today. Only Camel could have a small goat wander through his funeral and no one thought it strang...

The last point has me worried. I was told during my last inspection that i am a "high risk" licence holder despite 30 plus years of legal and safe firearms ownership.

My Tobler 223 barrel went in a single day. In the morning smacking rabbits at 200-300 yards. By the days end coundnt hit one at 80 yards. Tried cleqning and JB etc but no good.

Make sure it has the MOA adjustments needed to get to 200. With my falcon rimfire i could only get a 14MOA rail. I still couldnt get a 200 zero with a Nightforce BR but could with a competition series.

Hi Con. Depends on which discipline. In short range BR, IRB, br30 etc weight can be an issue and as the range is either 50 or 100 then its the domain of the light straight power T36, leupold 45x etc. in fly where weight limit is 17lbs and range is 200 then its the nightforce BR or competition series...
