Why complicate things ?
Just another piece of kit that could break down just when you don't need it to.
Keep it simple

Old thread I know, but tried the adamjp recipe this weekend & it works a treat, thanks mate

I reload for my old military clunkers, 3 different calibres, but I find the whole process very relaxing and a hell of a lot cheaper overall

Maybe try free floating the barrel, that may tighten up your groups, are you using hand loads or factory ?

Re: Just Starting
So apart from Dies that kit contains everything i need? Thanks for the help! The only other thing you will need is the appropriate case length gauge & shellholder, part numbers here : http://www.leeprecision.com/cgi/catalog/browse.cgi?1294380495.1190=/html/catalog/casecon.html#CaseLengthGauge
Re: Bipods
You can get a brand new one cheaper than that from the US. TOZ have them for about $100 USD. Cheers When you said TOZ, I straight away thought "Russian rifles" :D Having looked at that link though, there is some interesting stuff there, are they good to deal with ? I take it you give them...

Re: .22lr ammo for range and field
I use winnie subs in my CZ for bunnies , never a problem with those at all, always consistant, which is what you want, & I like the bang....pause.....thwack , having said that, your rifle may not like them !
As trevort has said, it is better to use a bigger calibre on the foxes.
