So if a date etc could be posted as to when it will be held would be handy as i have to plan in advance. And you never know we may even be able to drag a couple shooters from Townsville along. :r...

My best score on a BR30 target is 2150 for my silver not long after that we stopped shooting it as they were putting all results in together both indoor and outdoor so out door shooters didnt get a look in.We changed over to RBA but now shoot IRB tho i do still travell each year to the RBA nationals...

No brakes,
If a light gun wants to compete in heavy, fine why not just slip a stainless shoe over the front of the stock to add a bit of weight and a weight on the back as well. But if a light gun is shooting well and wants to run with the big boys go for it.

Re: Pending world record.
I have done some fantastic groups in Practice but to pull off 5 in comp is awesome and in wind is where they come into their own as you cant machinegun them like the 6PPC`s but pick your shots. If we could get some quality projectiles in the 110 to 120gr range would be even better Might have to start...

Will we be getting the results of the FLY shoot?
I see in the 1000yrd the Light Guns shooting Blind had better groups maybe coz they wern`t chasing shots.

Re: To bed or not to bed under the barrel?
In a good solid custom action you shouldnt need to bed the first section of barrel as the action will be able to support it with out any strain. I havent bedded any of mine under the barrel But if you were using a remington action or something with large port etc yes as it helps support the weight o...

Well i will back a Queenslander to take out the Coffs shoot John Padswald has to modify his rifle to come into weight but should still be up there and if Clinton Sondergeld gets his finger out and joined SSAA he also will be in contention along with Barry Hilzinger Greg Schneider and a few others, a...

Re: The rising costs in competition
Well fellas mine cost about 65cents per shot. Unlike Top-em-up Tony i just put in the powder that is required And could more than load two cases with the amount of powder that a.JR uses. My barrel has lasted over 3 thousand rnds and still going sure it may not do as good at 1000yards but it does get...
