Well this is true, it was a cheap rifle for a reason. Might have to just stick a bit of epoxy in it and give it a coat of paint if its going to be a little expensive maybe...

Model 70 223wsm, blind magazine. The rifles a super shadow from memory. After anything really the original stock had been butchered quite badly

HA! Hmmmm does sound nice, kinda need more room in the safe plus if i dont off load my savage i wont have any glass on the 6mm RemAI for quite some time :?

At the time wanted something in a heavy pill to try and get further out as the wssm has anything in 250m range covered along with the 204, was thinking of a 223AI and drive some 40gr as fast as possible and cut down the barrel as a handy rabbit rifle for spotlighting perhaps......

2015 Varmint project

So, I scored myself a Savage .223 heavy barrel with only 900 rounds down the tube not so long ago. Problem being i couldnt get it to group with the 69gr pills i was hoping it would so in the meantime i got some go fast bits for it and have yet to test it. Now as ive got far to many rifles in the saf...

Yeah saw that article and from what most have said Winchester is the fo, buggered if in rooting around with Norma 7x57 brass though ha!

Yeah was thinking the 65gr of 75gr VMAX of the 70gr SBK but saw some decent deals on the varmagedon and thought it would be worth trying in the 6mm!
