Re: buget air rifle for hares ????
All fair calls. Ive been mucking round with Surefire, EDIs, Wolfeyes, and of course the LedLensers. The EagleTac's intrigued me but the fear no support stopped me short of ordering... but looks like that was unfounded. Ive found fixed focus single point seems to be the only way to go for decent thro...

Re: Beeman stuff
Yes well either a list for all or just me... I was just trying to get in first ;) And would probably spring for most of it... Scopes, mounts and parts would be of most interest to me Lewis. No not crazy enough to become a Dealer and have to deal with Customs etc, just sweeping the floors at the local...

Re: Rimfire silhouette ?? - Optics
Hey JD, Oh I have a 1712 but it is the older wood model with the wing safety. Superb rifle, love it to bits... just wish it could legally wear the McMillan stock! Like you I am just about to get back into the silhouette in earnest. The only niggle I have with the 1712 is the 2 pound trigger pull in ...

Re: Sling Swivel Stud tricks?
Thanks for the tips. Yeah I probably should have specified what the deal was first off- Its a Kimber Montana 8400, kevlar stock jobby ( second one actually, first one sent back due to collapsed recoil pad). So yeah, metal thread going into some sort of nut thing in the forend. Guess I'll whip it out...

Sling Swivel Stud tricks?
G'day all, Just wondering what ideas anyone might have as to getting a sling swivel stud to stay straight. It screws in tight but stops a bit over a quater of a turn too far. Put something in the hole to limit the last bit of rotation? Araldite or locktight the thing? Its just one of those silly pet...
